what is gather for youth?

Gather for Youth is a special session of the Gather Conference for teenagers turning 14 -18 this year. Over two days youth will build friendships, gain useful tools for resilience, and experience belonging. Counsellors will lead youth in small group games and activities. Amazing speakers will come and share insight on important topics like identity development, Cass’s stages of coming out, and maintaining mental health.

who can sign up?

Any youth who is turning 14-18 this year is welcome. Participants can be LGBTQ themselves, family members of LGBTQ people, or allies. Participants are welcome to register with a friend, or attend alone, even if they don’t identify as LGBTQ. If you are LGBTQ, you do not need to be out to participate. We are respectful of your privacy and confidentiality is very important to us.
