The OUT Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit collects, preserves, and celebrates the queer culture of BYU. The OUT Foundation provides a community. We advocate for change in order to help the current queer students on campus. Our mission is to empower the LGBTQ+ alumni and current students of BYU, both now and for generations to come. We are dedicated to connecting and supporting LGBTQ+ alumni, distributing financial grants to LGBTQ+ students, documenting the history of the LGBTQ+ experience at BYU, and providing a platform for alumni stories.
We are not affiliated with or financially connected to Brigham Young University, the BYU Alumni Association, or The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We are comprised of LGBTQ+ people who attended or graduated from Brigham Young University.

“At BYU Counseling and Psychological Services we aspire to maintain a culture of inclusion. We provide counseling services that are confidential and strive to create a safe environment for students of diverse age, gender, race, ethnicity, religion/spirituality, sexual orientation, relationship status, national origin, immigration status, socioeconomic status, political affiliation, body type, and mental and physical ability. We respect and seek to understand the unique intersection of identities that individuals bring to our center, and believe that commitment to diversity directly contributes to the Aims of a BYU Education”
”We are united by our common primary identity as children of God (Acts 17:29; Psalm 82:6) and our commitment to the truths of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ (BYU Mission Statement). We strive to create a community of belonging composed of students, faculty, and staff whose hearts are knit together in love (Mosiah 18:21) where:
All relationships reflect devout love of God and a loving, genuine concern for the welfare of our neighbor (BYU Mission Statement);
We value and embrace the variety of individual characteristics, life experiences and circumstances, perspectives, talents, and gifts of each member of the community and the richness and strength they bring to our community (1 Corinthians 12:12–27);
Our interactions create and support an environment of belonging (Ephesians 2:19); and
The full realization of each student’s divine potential is our central focus (BYU Mission Statement).
Celebrate Therapy is the first clinic in Provo, Utah and the surrounding area that is owned and run by a team of queer clinicians. We work to support clients in becoming confident and supported in their own queerness. We’ll also work alongside family members who are working through how to support their queer loved ones. We are hoping to lead a transformational change in Utah County and beyond!
